Figure A is the primary and largest illustration in the center. It depicts a woody stem with several pairs of opposite, elliptical, pointed leaves and terminal clusters of small flowers.
Figure B, at the bottom left, provides a detailed view of a branching stem with dense clusters of narrow, pointed leaves or bracts.
Figure C, at the bottom right, shows a branched stem bearing clusters of rounded, urn-shaped buds or developing seed capsules.
Figure D, in the upper right, displays a small, isolated cluster of trumpet-shaped flowers.
Figure E, also in the right section, shows a branched flowering structure with a more complex arrangement of small flowers.
Figure F, in the top left, illustrates a branch segment with two pairs of leaves and a terminal cluster of buds or flowers.
