A detailed botanical engraving of a large cluster of coconuts (Cocos nucifera) hanging from a central woody stalk. The cluster consists of approximately fifteen individual coconuts in various orientations, showing their fibrous husks. Long, thin, root-like or fibrous strands extend outwards from the central stalk. At the top of the stalk, a decorative, flowing ribbon is tied in a bow, with its ends fluttering to the left and right. The engraving uses fine cross-hatching to create depth and texture on the fruit.
