MAGIC possesses three books: Theology, Astronomy, and Medicine. From these, the Magician recognizes and venerates the Trinity in unity, and imparts the power, which he has received from God, to wretched mortals. All others, however—whether they be Theologians, Astronomers, or Physicians—who do not demonstrate through their works that which they profess with their mouths, are blind-magicians original: "caecomagi" and false prophets. By their fruits you shall know them, etc. A reference to the Gospel of Matthew 7:16, used here to argue that true science must be validated by practical results.
