Of the
Excellent Gentleman
of Naples
Which was
First described by the same in Latin; afterwards by him
self enlarged; but now, for the benefit of all lovers of the natural sci-
ences, translated entirely anew into the High German language—not according to the old printing of the French edition, which
contained only four books, but through all twenty books; most diligently cleansed of all errors which remained in great heaps in the Latin printing, or
had newly crept in; di-
vided into certain paragraphs distinguished by numbers; honored with clear German technical rhymes; improved in its figures and
adorned with beautiful copperplates; increased with necessary notes and solutions to the riddles contained therein, as
well as many new, uncommonly good chemical and other pieces;
provided with a detailed index, and in two parts,
published by
Christian PEGANIUM, otherwise called Rautner. Christian Peganium was the pseudonym of Christian Knorr von Rosenroth (1636–1689), a Christian Hebraist and translator known for his work on the Kabbalah Denudata.
By the late Johann Zieger’s Widow, 1713.
