An elaborate alchemical or cosmological engraving depicting a celestial figure with large, feathered wings outstretched against a starry night sky. The figure's head is a simple circle, and its body is largely obscured by a grand circular emblem. This emblem is framed by a thick ring of clouds.

From a central radiant sun inside the cloud-ring, seven rays emanate upwards towards an arched celestial band. Two hands emerge from the sides of the cloud-ring to hold the outermost rays. The symbols at the ends of these rays, from left to right, are:
1. A multi-pointed star held by a left hand.
2. A star containing the astrological symbol for Mercury (☿).
3. A star containing the astrological symbol for Venus (♀).
4. A central, larger sphere representing the Sun.
5. A star containing the astrological symbol for Saturn (♄).
6. A star containing the astrological symbol for Jupiter (♃).
7. A sphere held by a right hand.

Inside the cloud-ring, surrounding the central sun, are additional planetary symbols. Along the bottom arc are a small dark sphere (possibly the Moon), followed by the symbols for Saturn (♄), Venus (♀), and Mars (♂). The symbol for Jupiter (♃) is positioned to the right of the central sun.

The figure stands with legs astride a landscape at the bottom of the frame:

On the left, a rocky outcrop where a stag (deer) is grazing or drinking.
In the center foreground, a serpent or dragon lies coiled on the ground.
On the right, a swan swims in a body of water near a small mound.
