Amicable reader, the Latin interpretation of Psellus is by Petrus Morellus, the same who also made Nicetas’s Treasury of the Orthodox Faith original: "Thesaurus orthodoxae fidei" into Latin from the Greek 1. Indeed, it was my intention, had the book fairs and other occupations permitted, to make Eustathius 2 public property above all else; but this hope collapsed. In the meantime, so that the presses would not be idle, I extorted Psellus from the author; furthermore, I extracted the notes, which were born while it was being printed. Use it, reader; and expect better and greater things shortly.
