As in all operations, there must be a victim The "victim" refers to a ritual animal sacrifice, common in early modern grimoires; it must be pure and without pollution. Having washed and censed it with the Planetary incense, you shall cut a small patch of hair or feathers from its head, upon which you shall perform the exorcism with sea salt, saying:

After which you shall throat the victim slaughter by cutting the throat and with a portion of its blood you shall sprinkle the Chamber, or the place intended for performing the operation, saying:

One must make a small Booklet containing the prayers of all the Operations, the names of the Angels in the form of Litanies, their seals, and their characters magical symbols or signatures; this must be written with dove's blood on Virgin parchment parchment made from the skin of a stillborn or young animal that has not mated. Once this is done, you shall consecrate them to the supreme Divinities—that is to say, to the great God and to the pure Spirits—in the following manner.
You shall place in the intended location a small table covered with a white cloth, upon which you shall place the Booklet open at the spot where the Great Pentacle is located.
