And he intended by it one who is snatched away from the determination of his own desire, overwhelmed by the brilliance of what has appeared from Your subtlety, O Subtlest of the Subtle, O Most Merciful of the Merciful. By Your mercy, whoever calls out at this time using this Greatest Name original: al-Ism al-A'zam; the supreme hidden name of God believed to grant any prayer and the Holy Remembrance original: al-Dhikr al-Muqaddas until the breaking of dawn, shall see lights emerging from his mouth. He shall see water in the house appearing like a lighthouse. He shall not ask God for the relief of distress, the repelling of a calamity, the conquering of an enemy, the goodness of life, the illumination of the inner secret, or the uncovering of a matter, except that God shall hasten that for him.

The one who communes through this Name perceives his state by the seventh repetition, due to the spiritual increase that enters him. A trembling original: ri'dah; a physical shaking often associated with Sufi ecstasy shall overcome his limbs. Whenever he finds that within his side, the prayer has reached its blessing and his need is fulfilled. Then, when that state lifts from him, he returns to the repetition; for when the door of response is opened, it grants permission by the hands of the angels at the door of mercy for the one who calls and remembers.

Only the one whose existence corresponds to the composition of that Name—and no other—shall witness the spirituality of the human beings original: ruhaniyyat al-insan entrusted with his partial and universal existence. Then the worlds cry out to one another like the longing of the attractor and the attracted. Those limbs that correspond to that Name and that spirituality are moved. That trembling and shaking which occurs to the chosen ones among His servants causes those angels to ascend—

—with holy meanings and perfect forms within the molds of the Kingdom original: al-Malakiyyah; the angelic or celestial realm. These souls descend with that group in languages suited to the composition of their existence, and they ascend Y to that door from which they descended. Then a meaning is manifested for the seeker of remembrance, calling out in the presence of that Name for a swift response for the caller.

The Supreme Permission then goes forth according to the will of the One who answered him. The Angels of Dispatch original: amlak al-tasrif; angels who manage the transition of divine decrees into the physical world receive it and deliver it to the Angels of Subjugation, and the Angels of Actions command it. They cast it to the Angels of Effect, who bring it forth in detail within the worlds of creation.

Each one of them is a sovereign over his world regarding the majesty of the Remembrance and those who remember. There are subtle links connected to every Name that has a relation to the Truth God through the derived Names, and that which has no likeness in the world. The Name grows in greatness in proportion to how much it surpasses examples and defies comparison. For every Name, there is a door, an ascension, a Tablet, a Pen, and worlds. So glory be to Him; none knows the number of His soldiers except He.
