This diagram depicts the Earth at the center of a celestial compass. At the four cardinal points are the Archangels, who govern the various winds and are associated with specific planetary spirits and astrological symbols.
SOUTH (Top): The Archangel Uriel presides here. The winds blowing from this quarter are the Euro-Auster (South-East wind), the Auster (South wind), and the Austro-Africus (South-West wind). He is associated with the spirits Amaymon and Maharael, and the planetary influences of Jupiter (♃) and Mars (♂).
NORTH (Bottom): The Archangel Gabriel presides here. The winds are the Circius (North-North-West wind), the Boreas (North wind), and the Aquilo (North-East wind). He is associated with the spirits Egyn and Azazel, and the planetary influences of Saturn (♄) and the Moon (☽).
EAST (Left): The Archangel Michael presides here. The winds are the Caecias (North-East wind), the Subsolanus (East wind), and the Eurus (South-East wind). He is associated with the spirit Samael and the influence of the Sun (☉).
WEST (Right): The Archangel Raphael presides here. The winds are the Africus (South-West wind), the Favonius (West wind), and the Corus (North-West wind). He is associated with the spirits Paymon and Azazel, and the planetary influences of Venus (♀) and Mercury (☿).
In this diagram, we see the four Archangels, as it were. In classical mythology, the winds were the offspring of the Titan Astraeus and Eos (the Dawn).. He is indeed the Prince and primary leader of the cohorts in the army of GOD, as was most excellently explained by John the Revelator A reference to the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation 12:7-9. regarding the battle fought between the Dragon (that is, Satan or the Devil) and the Archangel Michael. For this reason, the remaining three good angels—namely Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel—are accustomed to move at his command.
For as was declared in the preceding pages, under the common name of "Michael"—viewed as a specific angelic title—a mystery of the Angels has been created within natural things. Through this, it is established that all Angels are of the same species and are like flashing rays or emanations sent forth from that great Angel Metatron In Jewish mystical tradition (Kabbalah), Metatron is often described as the highest of the angels, the celestial scribe, or the "lesser YHWH" who serves as the primary mediator between God and the creation. (or Wisdom, the first creature); these rays can no more be divided from their primary Angelic source than the rays of the Sun can be divided from the Sun itself. This one [Michael], therefore, who is the image of Metatron, does not...
