If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we’d love to hear from you.

Immortal, eternal, inexpressible, and Holy Father of all things, who is carried unceasingly by the revolving chariot of the worlds which continually rotate: ruler of the ethereal realms where the throne of Your power is raised: above which Your formidable eyes see all, and Your holy ears hear all—aid Your children whom You have loved since the beginning of time. For Your golden, great, and eternal majesty shines above the world, the sky, and the stars. You are elevated above all, O sparkling fire, and You illuminate Yourself by Your own splendor. From Your essence come forth untarnishable rays of light which nourish Your infinite spirit. That infinite spirit produces all things and creates the mighty, inexhaustible treasure for the creation that surrounds You, due to the countless forms which she bears and which You filled at the beginning. From this spirit also comes the origin of those most holy kings who are around Your throne and who compose Your court, O Universal Father!
O Unique One, O Father of happy mortals and immortals! You have created in particular the powers which are marvelously like Your eternal thought and are of Your adorable essence. You have established them over the angels; You have created a third kind of sovereign in the elements. Our continual practice is to worship Your desires. We burn with the desire to possess You, O Father, O Mother, the most tender of Mothers! O wonderful example of the feelings and tenderness of Mothers! O Son, the flower of all sons! O Form of all forms! Soul, Spirit, Harmony, and Name of all things, preserve us and we shall be blessed. Amen.
I have included here the form of the Pentacle of Solomon so that you may make the necessary arrangements, as they are of great importance.
When you make your circle, before entering it, it is to be perfumed with musk, amber, aloes wood original: "aloes wood"; a fragrant resinous wood, also known as agarwood, used in incense, and incense. For the perfume which you will need for the invocations themselves, use incense alone.
It must be observed that you need to have a fire burning at all times during invocations. When you perfume the area, it must be done in the name of the spirit that you intend to invoke. When you are placing the perfume on the fire, say every time:
I burn this, [Name of substance], in the name and to the honor of [Name of Spirit].
Remember that you must hold the written invocation in your left hand, and in your right hand a rod made of elder wood. A ladle and a knife are to be placed at your feet.
When all this is ready, stand inside the circle. If you have companions with you, they are to hold each other's hands. Once inside, trace the form of the circle with the knife of the Art original: "knife of the Art"; a ritual blade, often called an athame in later traditions, used to direct energy or mark sacred space.
