Many of the readers of these pages will, moreover, praise God with me, "that in these days of frivolity, in which a true flood of seductive writings of all kinds overwhelms those who do not wish to seek or see the bright truth—in the Bible—He still allows testimonies of the purity of His light and the blessedness of the life that is from God to be offered through the power of His Spirit." I hope that the reader will not push away the hand of the author of these pages, which leads him through a mysterious path of nature and of grace The author refers to the dual process of physical existence and spiritual redemption, but rather, because he feels the gentle and pure warmth of love within it, will allow himself to be guided by it until—at the end of this writing—his heart flows together with the heart of his guide in that supplicatory prayer, which surely no one will read without being inwardly moved.
