And since Man is the Microcosm From the Greek 'mikros kosmos', meaning 'little world'; the idea that the human being reflects the entire universe in miniature.—the creation in miniature—the center in which everything, whether Above or Below, material and spiritual, heavenly and earthly, has influence, connection, and relationship; in which the lower unites with its most refined power, and the higher with its proportionally lowered power; thus the study of Man remains the first and most important task for the student of wisdom.

Man is the prism of creation, whose three sides catch all the colors of nature and present them to the eye. He is the temple with its outer court, sanctuary, and Holy of Holies A reference to the structure of the Tabernacle or Temple in Jerusalem, used here as an allegory for the body, soul, and spirit., in which all forces outside of him bring their offerings and sanctify them for the service of God. He is the vessel wherein all natures place the noblest of their powers, so that through him, they may be guided back to the source of their origin.
