An ornate armorial bookplate is pasted onto the page. The central oval shield features a diagonal band, known as a bend, placed between two thinner, notched lines. A decorative frame of acanthus leaves and floral arrangements encloses the shield. Above the shield, a crest depicts a stag's head emerging from a coronet. At the base, there is an empty, flowing scroll intended for a motto.
