This later handwritten insertion indicates this specific copy once belonged to a library of the Capuchin friars.
The noble, highly enlightened, excellent,
proven Philosopher Salomon Trismosin (who
was the preceptor A teacher or mentor; Trismosin was the legendary teacher of the famous physician Paracelsus. of the great Philosopher and Physician Theophrastus Paracelsus),
arranged into specific, distinct little
treatises, and translated
into German.
Along with other special treatises by philosophical
writers, both old and new; all of which have never
before been heard of or seen, as the table of contents
makes clear.

expense, effort, labor, and danger, and published
with the greatest faithfulness and
