visible and comprehensible object,
a sensing subject, and an es-
sential essence; namely the ele-
ment, water, as the first thing
that existed, and from which GOD
the LORD formed the great structure of the world with
all its creatures and creations;
as the Book of
Creation A reference to the biblical Book of Genesis and the story of the spirit of God moving over the waters. and Nature itself teaches us.
Thus we have actually made a
fivefold division and concept
therein, as 1.) that GOD is the first ori-
gin, and primal beginning of all things.
2.) That water was the first
substance and subject,
from which GOD made everything. 3.) That
there is more than one kind of water.
4.) That the earth and all
stones have grown out of water, and
5.) that the first matter original: "Prima Materia." In alchemy, this is the formless "base" of all matter, the starting material required for the Great Work. of all things,
and also of the Philosopher’s Stone,
is a water. This we have now
proven with reasons in this work,
as far as it could be done.
In passing, however, we only wish to
mention water as the
seed or first matter original: "Prima Materia" of the Stone original: "Lapidis," referring to the Philosopher's Stone.
