The layout follows the traditional 17th-century style, with the title words decreasing in size to form an inverted triangle. The page is noted for its "foxing," which are the reddish-brown spots caused by the oxidation of iron or fungal growth on old paper. A decorative typographical ornament, known as a fleuron, is positioned in the center to provide visual balance between the title and the date.
