A vertical rectangular border contains a central circular emblem. This emblem consists of two concentric circles. Four symbols or characters are positioned between the outer and inner circles at the cardinal points. At the top is a stylized symbol resembling a script S with a horizontal cross bar. At the right is the numeral 7. At the bottom is the numeral 2. At the left is a character resembling K3 or a specific magical sigil. The inner circle contains two rows of capital letters. The top row consists of the letters I, B, and E connected by a central horizontal line. The bottom row consists of A, R, and G. The letters A and R are joined at their vertical stem.
The symbols on this page function as a talismanic sigil. The letter combinations IBE and ARG original: "ARG", likely an abbreviation for Argentum, the Latin word for silver are common in occult texts from the early nineteenth century. These letters often represent abbreviated divine names or liturgical phrases. In the tradition of the Enchiridion, such diagrams were believed to provide spiritual protection or magical efficacy to the person who carried the book. The numbers 7 and 2 may hold numerological significance related to the days of creation or planetary influences.
