The Enchiridion of Pope Leo

This illustration depicts a hand-drawn magical seal or pentacle centered within a double-lined rectangular frame. The seal features two concentric circles. The outer band contains several inscriptions. At the top is a symbol for the Greek letter Alpha, which signifies the beginning. Moving clockwise, the letters COsrr and EV are visible.
