The Holy Spirit is no skeptic original: "Scepticus"; He has not written an uncertain delusion into our hearts, but a powerful / great certainty / that does not let us waver. And because God will not let us waver, but—praise God—makes us as certain as we are certain that we are naturally alive right now, or that two and three make five.
The whole of Holy Scripture is primarily concerned with this / that we do not doubt, but certainly hope, trust, and believe / that God is merciful, kind, and patient / He who neither lies nor deceives / but is faithful and true, keeping His promise. Indeed, He has already fulfilled all that He promised, in that He has given His only begotten Son unto death for the sake of our sin / so that everyone who believes in Him should not be lost, but have eternal life.
Psalm 5. There is nothing certain in their mouths / that is, they have no certain teaching / but rather delusional doubt, superstition, and wavering opinions. They are babblers Wescher A "Wescher" (or Wäsche) refers to an empty chatterer or someone who talks at length without substance or spiritual truth. / they teach nothing stable or certain; therefore, it is a right and certain Spirit that makes us certain of the will of God / and does not let us doubt.
