On the contrary, however, we are not well pleased with several individuals—who are very well known to us, though they are unaware of it—among whom, alongside those of low birth, persons of high standing are also to be found. Because of their speech and defenseoriginal: "Defendirung" of our Order, it is strongly suspectedoriginal: "gemuthmasset" that they belong to us and are indeed right and true Rosicruciansoriginal: "RosenCreuzer," a legendary secret society of sages and alchemists. Yet, in truth, such people possess no extraordinaryoriginal: "extra ordinari" secret knowledge in divine wisdomoriginal: "Theosophia", nor do they understand anything fundamental in chemistryoriginal: "Chymia," referring here to alchemy. Instead, they bring both themselves and us along with them into great contempt.
