A circular emblem is centered on the label. Inside a blue oval bordered by a green wreath, a white pelican is depicted "in her piety"—a traditional symbol of self-sacrifice where the mother bird feeds her young with blood from her own breast. Golden rays of light shine down upon the nest from the top of the oval. The nest sits on a square shield containing four red roses, a symbol often associated with the Rosicrucian brotherhood. The text "HERMETIC PHILOSOPHY" original Latin: "PHILOSOPHIA HERMETICA" is printed in a circular fashion surrounding the central emblem.
