An engraved woodcut depicts a young Christ figure standing triumphantly upon a multi-headed dragon or beast. He pierces the beast with a long staff and holds a banner topped with a cross in his left hand. The name "CHRIST" is inscribed within his halo. The layout places text around the image to identify him as the mediator between God and Man.
