Thus I will now begin to pray for this. O God, to You I lift up my eyes; my heart, soul, and all that is within me shall praise Your holy Name, Amen.

A Short Confession of Sins.

We have sinned, O Lord God, along with our fathers; we have committed injustice inwardly through desires, lusts, and thoughts; we have often performed vice and malice outwardly through words and deeds before You and before men.
