Antimonial Pharmacy

The printed image is very faint and worn. It is likely a ghost impression or from a heavily used plate. This makes the details and the text on the scroll difficult to decipher.

The seated figure, likely the Virgin Mary, appears to be praying or reading while looking toward the celestial messenger. A long, winding scroll floats between the two figures. The scene is set in an interior space with architectural details, including classical columns on the right and a tiled floor. A rectangular border encloses the entire composition.
