of the Blessed Stone.

That this stone is blessed and acceptable.

After I, as a true philosopher original: Philosophus, rejected and cast aside various operations of Quicksilver original: Argenti viv. (Argentum vivum), literally "living silver.", I resolved to correctly name the true Philosopher’s Stone original: Lapidem Philosophor., from which our true Quicksilver or Metal-Mercury Queck-Metall|A term used by alchemists to distinguish their "philosophical" mercury from common quicksilver found in shops. can be extracted, which in the end is converted into a true Medicine. I do this because the name of this stone, and the stone itself, is hidden in the books of the philosophers, and I have yet to find anyone who has declared and explained it as clearly and sincerely—or even wished to explain it—as I myself, who have taken it upon myself to explain it distinctly.
