The emblem features a central blue oval containing a white pelican vulning itself piercing its own breast to feed its young with its blood—a traditional symbol of self-sacrifice, Christ, and the alchemical process of revitalization. The pelican stands atop a cubical stone decorated with a pattern of four red roses and crossed staves. A radiant sun appears at the top of the oval, and a green uroboros a serpent eating its own tail, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life and the unity of all things forms the inner border. The words "HERMETIC PHILOSOPHY" original: "PHILOSOPHIA HERMETICA" are printed in a circle around the emblem.
