After many souls walking in the paths of the inner life inner life: a spiritual tradition focusing on internal prayer and the soul's direct relationship with God have requested to have the excellent writings of Mr. Bertot original: "Herrn Bertot"; Jean de Bertot (1622–1681) was a French mystic and spiritual director associated with the Quietist movement in the German language, and the providence of GOD Himself has provided the occasion and opportunity for some of Mr. Bertot’s letters to be translated into German; it has been deemed both necessary and useful to share this present extract from these writings with those who desire them. This collection is shared not according to a specific organized system, but rather in the sequence in which they have been and will continue to be translated.
It is unnecessary to praise these glorious writings; everyone who
