That is:
A Guide and Summary Account / namely how the Most Universal Supreme original: "Universale Generalissimum"; a term for the "Great Work" or the Philosopher's Stone, believed to be the ultimate substance in alchemy, just as metals and minerals are worked through the Stars original: "Astra"; early scientists believed celestial bodies influenced the growth of minerals inside the earth / finally taking their physical form over many years from water and earth / and being formed into many kinds of shapes / may be attained through Art original: "per Artem"; refers to the alchemist's skill in accelerating natural processes in the laboratory within a short time; and how consequently the properties of all metals and minerals should be most easily investigated and explored.
Described clearly in many places in this little book for the pleasure of all diligent researchers of Nature/ and consisting of seven small treatises, prepared for printing.
