To a theologianoriginal German: "Gottes-gelehrter", literally a scholar of God. regarding various questions which he raised in his state of doubt and distress, seeking an explanation for the claim: that it is harmful for a true disciple of JESUS CHRIST to belong to a separate church, and that there are no longer any true Christians left on earth. Also, regarding the fact that many people were heard speaking of these matters as if they possessed the spirit of prophecyoriginal: "Geist der Weissagung". In this context, it refers to the gift of divine revelation or the ability to speak as a direct messenger of God., while they meanwhile frequently contradict one another, and their actual lives do not agree with those of the prophets of God. To all of which a very precise and thorough answer is given in several letters sent to this same person.
To the same person, to exhort him that he must not despise an insight or revelation coming from God, even if he has never encountered anything of the sort before.
