A triangular bookplate belongs to the Theosophical Library. The triangle contains a central circle depicting a six pointed star, also known as a hexagram, with an Egyptian ankh symbol at its center. This combination of symbols is characteristic of Theosophical emblems. The background within the triangle features stylized, swirling woodcut patterns. The text "Theosophical Library" runs along the left interior border, and "Amsteldijk, Amsterdam" runs along the right. At the base of the triangle is a rectangular frame containing the handwritten shelf mark F 470, flanked by decorative Greek key patterns. Below the triangular emblem, two large red stars have been added by hand.
