...as a truly blessed and sanctified praying and working. Original: Beten und Arbeiten—a reference to the traditional Christian motto Ora et Labora, suggesting that in Paradise, labor was not a burden but a form of worship. Ah! That we poor children of Adam lost this glory, and do not know how to pray and work in such pure innocence as Adam did. Ah, Lord Jesus, bring us back into the right order from which we departed through the lamentable Fall of Sin, for the sake of your love. Amen!

Bless the Lord, my soul. Lord my God, you are very glorious; you are beautifully and mightily adorned.
Light is your garment that you wear; you stretch out the heavens like a tapestry. The German Teppich (tapestry/carpet) reflects the idea of the sky as a decorative fabric spread over the world.
You arch it above with water; you ride upon the clouds as if on a chariot, and walk upon the wings of the wind.
You who make your angels into winds, and your servants into flames of fire.
You who ground the earth upon its foundations, so that it remains forever and ever.
You cover it with the deep as with a garment, and water stands above the mountains.
But at your rebuke they flee; at your thunder they hasten away.
The mountains rise up high, and the valleys sink down to the place which you have established for them.
You have set a boundary that they may not cross, and they must not cover the earth again.
You let springs gush forth in the valleys, so that the waters flow between the mountains.
So that all the beasts of the field may drink, and the wild creatures may quench their thirst.
