Front Cover and Spine Description
This volume is bound in a luxurious seventeenth or eighteenth-century style. The dark, mottled brown leather—likely calfskin—is decorated with an intricate gold-tooled border. This border features repeating "fleuron" motifs—small, stylized flower stamps—and pomegranate designs. The corners are further embellished with larger floral sprays.
The spine is divided into sections by raised bands. The labels on the spine identify both the author and the prestigious printing house responsible for the book.
