But all these witnesses are despised and cast to the wind; shall then all So-called Christians original: "Genaamde Chriſtenen"; referring to nominal believers who are Christian in name only. not have to die without Mercy? For he who despises Jesus and his Law, does he not consider the precious Blood of the New Covenant—through which he is redeemed—to be unclean and powerless? Does he not reject the Love and Mercy of God? Must not the Love of God reject him in return, or turn away from him and leave him entirely?
7. See there, how mightily great and heavy the treasure of the Wrath of God is over the whole world; but most of all over the So-called Christians: who despise this, their First and Foremost Commandment, upon which everything alone depends: for
