Kind Reader, I wrote this little bookThe original Dutch uses the diminutive "Boexken," suggesting a modest, personal, or devotional work. some time ago at the request of a very good friend and delivered it to him, without the intention, however, that it should be made public to everyone through the press. But as it came into the hands of various people, and those who read it (in their judgment) found nothing but all
