An allegorical engraving featuring three putti (cherubs) among clouds. The putto on the top left holds a bundle of rods (fasces) a Roman symbol of magisterial power and justice and an architectural pillar. The putto on the top right holds a mirror symbolizing Prudence and leans against a heraldic shield containing a fess (horizontal band), surmounted by a knight's helmet. The central putto in the foreground is depicted measuring a wheel with a plumb line. To the right, a spade and a pickaxe emerge from the clouds. The engraving is signed "J. Goeree inv:" Designed by Jan Goeree (1670–1731), a well-known Dutch engraver and draughtsman at the base of the clouds on the left.
