Drawn from the source of Nature and manual Experience, divided into
two parts.
The first treats of Mercury the fluid or volatile principle of matter in 12 treatises.
The second treats of Sulphur the fiery or active principle of matter, the other principle of Nature.
A printer's mark or emblem featuring a lion resting its paw on a tablet inscribed with the text: "QVOD TIBI FIERI NON VIS ALTERI NE FECERIS." The Latin inscription translates to: "What you do not wish to be done to yourself, do not do to another," known as the Golden Rule.
