A white rectangular bookplate is pasted in the center of a marbled paper background. The bookplate features a circular emblem with a green border containing the gold lettered inscription Philosophia Hermetica Hermetic Philosophy. Inside the emblem is a blue oval depicting a white pelican in her piety, which is a traditional symbol of a mother bird feeding her young with blood from her own breast, perched upon a nest. Above the pelican is a golden sun with radiating beams. Below the nest is a shield featuring three red roses on a white field. A small handwritten letter M is visible just above the top left corner of the bookplate.
