to provide a copy of two letters that were written to him. They perfectly express the spirit of all those he received from different countries. If all these letters were known, they would be a clear demonstration that Mr. Saint-Martin did, during his life, much good without making a noise original: "beaucoup de bien sans faire de bruit", and that the people who thanked him knew him only through his works alone. They did not need to be given the clef key to understand most of them, and to be frequently brought back to religious belief by a simple reading.
