Leon the Hebrew, also known as Judah Leon Abravanel (c. 1460–1535), was a Jewish philosopher and physician. His work "Dialoghi d'amore" (Dialogues of Love) was a cornerstone of Renaissance Neoplatonism, exploring love as the governing principle of the universe.
The "Lord of Parc" (Seigneur du Parc) is the pseudonym of Denis Sauvage (1520–1587), a scholar from the Champagne region of France known for his translations and historical works.
