Since the rarity of copies of this Outline original: "Diatyposeos," a term derived from Greek meaning a formal description or sketch. has sparked a desire in many to see it, and since there were those who—stirred even by its reputation—were demanding that a copy be made available to them; I have decided, with the Author’s original: "Auctore," referring to Jan Amos Comenius. consent, to reprint this little book for the sake of those who love these studies. My hope is that the reasoning and method of the Universal Wisdom original: "Pansophici," referring to Comenius’s "Pansophia" project to unify all human knowledge. proposal may be more correctly understood, and that the importance of this most noble subject itself might urge others to lend their own studies and efforts to this cause. Therefore, Reader, make use of these pages and support the Author’s endeavors as much as you are able.
The vocabulary listed at the bottom of the original page includes: Diatyposeos (Outline/Sketch), Typographus (Printer), Pansophici (Universal Wisdom), and Auctor (Author).
