21. (2) And the Center of Love is the Jah original: "Jah." A mystical shortening of the name Yahweh, used by Böhme to signify the divine breath or the "Yes" of existence., as the fire-flaming breath, which is called God’s Word; it is the breath of the Unity of God, the foundation of power. Within it, the true Holy Spirit is understood in the outflowing of the love-breath, acting as the movement or the life of love. Furthermore, the angelic spirit as well as the soul-spirit are understood to exist within this, in which God is manifest and dwells.
22. But the ground of souls and angels, according to their nature, is understood to be in the eternal nature-fire. For the clear Deity does not become a creature (for it is an eternal Unity), but rather it dwells through nature, just as a fire glows through iron.
23. And at this point, we understand the possibility of the damnation of angels and souls: if they lose the love-fire, they separate themselves from the Divine Unity and enter into their own desire. Then, the wrath-fire burns within them and becomes their actual life.
24. But when the Divine love-fire burns in their central fire, then their fire-life is a pure joy and a gentle well-being; then God’s fire and the fire of nature stand within them as a single foundation.
25. In this fifth property, the glory and majesty of God become manifest as a light of love. Of this, the Scripture says (1 Timothy 6:16): God dwells in a light that no one can approach; this indicates that no creature was ever born directly out of the Central Fire of love, for it is the most holy fire, and is God Himself in His Trinity.
26. And out of this holy fire has flowed the Jah, as a ray of the sensible Unity; this is the precious name JESUS, who redeemed the poor soul once again from the wrath-fire. In assuming humanity, He gave Himself into the deviated Central Wrath-Fire of God's anger within the soul, and ignited it again with the love-fire, uniting it once more with God.
27. O, you people, take note of this! Understand now the true foundation: In God there is no wrath; He is pure, unadulterated love. Only in the foundation—through which love becomes mobile—is there wrath-fire; but in God, it is only a cause of the—
