...of which Christ said he deceives the whole world, and is understood in the kingdom of darkness, where heat and cold are in conflict; enough for our people.
What was the ground and the essence from
which the angels were created; what
was that same power in the Word of God
which flowed out and became
creaturely?
1. Scripture calls the angels "flames of fire." §. 1. 2.
2. The IDEA In Böhme’s thought, the "Idea" is the eternal, spiritual blueprint of a thing before it is physically created. was a form of the Divine Name, 3. and became manifest through the breathing in the fire. 4.
3. With the Jah original: "Jah" — the first half of the sacred name of God, representing the divine "Yes" or light. the "No" also formed itself as the "own-will," 5. which broke away from the Jah in Lucifer, 6. and for that reason the devil is a vain liar. 7.
4. The IDEA of the Holy Angel is a figure of the Holy Name of God; 8. As many names as there are, so many are the Ideas, like the stars. 9. 10.

10. The spirits of the letters and their composition can open the understanding, 18. as in the angelic realm, so also in the human kingdom. 19.
11. The Word of the Lord original Latin: "Verbum Domini" is the understanding: the angels are its letters; 20. the prince-angels indicate the letters, and the ministering angels indicate the composition: 21. just as the power for the meaning original Latin: "Sensu" lies within the letters, so it is also in the prince-angels. 22.
12. Man does not know the power in his own mouth, 23. in that he carries the power of all things in his mouth. 24. 25.
The Scripture says of GOD: Psalm 104:4.
You make your servants winds, and your angels flames of fire.
In these words lies the entire understanding; for with the word "servants," the pictorial Idea is understood as the spirit of the angels, [coming] from the breath or breathing of Divine strength and power, from the Holy Name of God.
2. And the expression "flames of fire" indicates the central fire of eternal nature, wherein the creature [finds] its
