Printer's mark of the Clarendon Press. In the center is a shield containing three crowns and an open book. The book's pages are inscribed with the Latin motto "The Lord is my light" original: "DOM MINA INUS TIO ILLV MEA," a shortened form of "Dominus Illuminatio Mea" from Psalm 27. The shield is surrounded by a decorative border with scrolls bearing the words "OXFORD", "CLARENDON", and "PRESS".
