The sharp observations original: "aduersiones," referring to critical scholarly remarks of Giovanni Antonio Asturio, which he himself mentions in Letter III to Antonio Magliabechi Magliabechi (1633–1714) was a famous Italian librarian and scholar (see Letters of Illustrious Men, Volume I, page 393), were never published. Furthermore, Asturio is the authority (on folio 5) for the claim that no commentary was written on Martianus Capella A 5th-century author known for an influential encyclopedia on the seven liberal arts except by a friend of Lilio Gregorio Giraldi, who mentioned him in Volume II of On the Poets referring to Giraldi's "De poetis nostrorum temporum" (1548).
