THE TRUE CHARACTER OF BEING

“There is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding.” original: Job 32:8 The Science presented here is founded upon Spirit; it is no less scientific simply because it does not conform to conventional intellectual standards. The facts of Spirit are spiritual in nature and, when understood in their proper relationship, are orderly—which is the ultimate test of true science.

The unchanging truths of Spirit are more scientific than constantly shifting intellectual standards. The only real science is the Science of Spirit In this context, "Science" refers to a systematic study of spiritual laws rather than material biology or physics.. It never changes. It is universally accepted by all who live in the Spirit, but it is necessary to be “in the Spirit” before it can be understood. The mind of the Spirit must become active in those who wish to grasp the orderly Science of Being that these lessons proclaim.

It is not strictly necessary for the spiritual part of a person's nature to be active at the beginning of this study. The primary goal of these lessons is to awaken original: "quickened" this realm of consciousness and bring about the “inspiration of the Almighty” that provides understanding.
