People are earnestly seeking to know God and to enter into a harmonious relationship with Him. Some are succeeding, while others seem to make very little progress. These different results are caused by the various ways of approaching the One Mind—for that is what God is. The dictionary definitions of "mind" and "spirit" are almost identical; using this comparison, we can more easily connect with God. If spirit and mind mean the same thing, we quickly realize that there is no great mystery surrounding spiritual matters, nor are they distant from our daily thoughts and experiences. "You are the temple of God, and His spirit dwells in you" original: "Ye are the temple of God, and his spirit dwelleth in you." A reference to the New Testament, 1 Corinthians 3:16. simply means that God lives within us in the same way our minds live within our bodies. Therefore, we see that God creates and directs all of creation through the power of mind, using thoughts as His instruments original: "vehicles". It is through our own minds that we shall find God and do His will.
Mental laws are being discovered, observed, and recorded by researchers today more than ever before in history. Humanity is capable enough to see the different factors involved in the mind's creative processes.
