The upper corners of the page feature diagonal resolution test patterns. These consist of vertical and horizontal bars that gradually decrease in size. They are labeled with numbers such as 1.0, 1.1, 1.25, 1.4, and 1.6 to measure the sharpness of the photographic reproduction. A secondary grid includes numbers up to 8.0.
A horizontal ruler marked in millimeters and numbered from 1 to 15 centimeters. This allows a viewer to determine the physical scale of the original document relative to the film image.
A horizontal ruler marked in inches and numbered from 1 to 5 inches, located directly below the centimeter ruler.
In the center of the page, a group of resolution test charts is displayed. Large blocks are labeled from 1.0 to 1.6. To the right, a column of much smaller patterns is labeled with numbers ranging from 1.8 to 9.0. These charts help technicians determine the "resolving power," or the level of detail the film can capture.
The bottom corners contain additional diagonal resolution test patterns similar to the ones at the top, ensuring the focus is sharp across the entire field of the camera lens.
