brought forth or drawn out into manifestation. This is the meaning of true education. The word "education" comes from the Latin educere, which means "to lead out" or "to draw out."
Until now, we have sought knowledge and help from outside sources, not knowing that the source of all knowledge—the very Spirit of Truth original: "Spirit of Truth"; a term often used in the New Testament to describe the Holy Spirit as a guide to internal wisdom.—was lying dormant within each and every one of us. It has been only waiting to be called upon to teach us the truth about all things. This is the most wonderful of teachers, and it is present everywhere, available freely to all!
God is Power. It is not simply that God has power, but that God is Power. In other words, all the power that exists to do anything is God. God, the source of our existence every moment, is not simply omnipotent (all-powerful); he is Omnipotence (all power itself). He is not only omniscient (all-knowing); he is Omniscience (all knowledge itself). He is not only omnipresent, but even more—he is Omnipresence. God is not a being who possesses good qualities; he is the Good itself. Everything you can think of that is good, in its absolute perfection, makes up that invisible being we call God.
God, then, is the Substance (from the Latin roots sub, meaning "under," and stare, to stand original: "sub, under, and stare, to stand"), or the real reality standing under every visible form of life, love, intelligence, or power. Every rock, tree, animal, and everything visible is a manifestation of the One Spirit—God—differing only in the
degree of manifestation; and each of the countless forms of manifestation, or individualities, however small, contains the whole.
One drop of water taken from the ocean is just as perfectly ocean water as the entire body of the sea. The chemical elements of the water are exactly the same, and they are combined in the exact same ratio or perfect relationship to each other, whether we are looking at one drop, a pailful, a barrelful, or the entire ocean from which the smaller amounts were taken. Each is complete in itself; they differ only in quantity or degree. Each contains the whole; and yet, no one would make the mistake of assuming from this statement that a single drop was the entire ocean.
So, we say that each individual manifestation of God contains the whole. We do not mean for a moment that each individual is God in his entirety, so to speak, but that each is God "come forth" in a different quantity or degree.
Humanity is the latest and highest manifestation of this Divine Energy—the fullest and most complete expression (or "pressing out") of God. The word "expression" comes from the Latin expressus, the past participle of exprimere, meaning "to press out." To humans, therefore, is given dominion over all other manifestations.
God is not only the Creative Cause of every visible form of intelligence and life at its beginning—
