And if you place its juice with the aforementioned ingredients into a silver cup, the cup will be broken into the smallest pieces. And if you mix the aforementioned with the blood of a young hare and keep it within the skin of a hare, all hares will gather in that place until it is removed.

¶ The ninth herb is called Augo by the Chaldeans, Amala by the Greeks, and Lilium Lily by the Latins.

If you gather this herb while the sun is in the sign of Leo, and mix it with the juice of laurel; and then place that juice under manure for some time, worms will be created. If a powder is made from these and placed around someone's neck or in their clothing, they will never sleep, nor be able to sleep, until it is removed. And if you place the aforementioned under manure and anoint someone with the worms born from it, a fever will be induced immediately.
