¶ The method of working with all the aforementioned things is that a good effect should be produced under a good planet, and an evil effect under an evil one—that is, during their specific hours and days.

¶ The second herb of the Sun is called Knotgrass original: "Poligonia" or "Corrigiola". This herb took its name from the Sun. For as the Sun is greatly generative, so also this herb has many forms. ¶ Some have called this herb Alchone, which is the "House of the Sun." ¶ Indeed, this herb heals ailments of the heart and the stomach. Whoever touches this herb receives power from its sign and planet. Furthermore, if anyone drinks its juice, it causes them to copulate frequently. And if anyone carries its root, it cures ailments of the eyes. If they carry it with them before they have any ailment, no affliction of the eyes shall befall them.
